      The Tribute

Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana – Andaz (1971)

One of the most iconic songs of the era, Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana is a beautiful song about the journey of life. The song featured Rajesh Khanna romanticising Hema Malini, as they ride a Royal Enfield Bullet 350 through Marine Drive and Juhu beach.

Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani - Jawani Diwani (1972)

In the movie Jawani Diwani, Kishore Da gave voice to another all time greats – Randhir Kapoor. Shot in the Brindavan Gardens, Randhir is seen riding a 1960s Bullet, which happened to be one of the favourites among movie makers in those times.

      Yeh Dosti – Sholay (1975)

Think of a song about friendship and this has to be the first one that pops into your mind. Featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Dermendra, 500cc 1942 BSA WM and a defiant sidecar, this video shows the two actors sliding and stunting around the country side with Kishore Da’s voice crooning a song about their eternal friendship.

Rote Hue Aate Hai Sab - Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978)

Rote Hue Aate Hai Sab is a philosophical song sung by Kishore Da and picturised on Amitabh Bachchan. It shows Sikandar ride a two-stroke motorcross bike around Bombay (as the city was called in the 1970s).

Ik Raasta Hai Zindagi - Kala Pathhar (1979)

Another song about the journey of life, Shashi Kapoor is seen riding around the country side in a 350cc Kawasaki two-stroker from the early 1970s.
