Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is known for his handsome looks and his groovy moves on the dance-floor. One of the fittest stars in the film industry, Mr. Roshan is known to be a huge fitness bug, dedicating many of his waking hours to a gruelling exercise routine. The award winning actor is known for playing both, commercial roles, as well as critically acclaimed ones such as the one he essayed in the movie Guzaarish.

The actor recently brought in his 42nd birthday in style, and is known for his taste for the finer things in life. Along with throwing a huge party for his friends, Mr. Roshan treated himself to a Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. The car is the latest in the actors carefully curated car collection and a welcome addition to the others housed there.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II was introduced sometime early last year, and is said to be over 17inches shorter in comparison to the flagship Rolls-Royce Phantom. The new car however, continues to be befitting the Rolls-Royce lineage, and is every bit as luxuriously appointed (and in many ways better) than the previous one.

The signature grille has grown ever so slightly in size, reinforcing the grand image of the car. The bumpers have been subtly reworked while the headlights too have received appropriate attention. In-fact, enthusiasts would do well to note that the Spirit of Ecstasy now appears to be pitched further forward in a pose that declares the sense of purpose to the design in a very understated manner.

The car continues to be powered by the oh-so-familiar, 6.6 litre V12 engine that gets the bi-turbo treatment. It is mated to an eight-speed ‘box and has been synced up with the GPS navigation system, thereby enabling it to match shifts based on the precise road conditions.

Critics would complain that a few bits that betray the car’s BMW lineage are still visible to the discerning eye, but we’re sure that Mr. Hrithik Roshan will have precious little to find fault with. The Bollywood star is expected to grace the screens later this year, in director Ashutosh Gowariker’s magnum opus - Mohenjo Daro. So here’s wishing the superstar all the very best and hope that he goes on achieve even greater success than ever before.
