This is an entirely new idea, which not only uses the concept of green cars, but also helps in avoiding many problems that cars face. Renault Twizy is a battery powered car that is designed for only 2 passengers. The auto maker has come up with this electric vehicle which is compact, and is a part of Renault’s zero-emission program. It is an ultra-compact car with a length of 2.32 meters, width of 1.19 meters and a height of 1.46 meters. It was created for the busy city dwellers who need to face the menace of heavy city traffic. The amount of emission from cars is increasing every day, and it will lead to many problems in the future if counter measures are not taken at the earliest.
Interestingly, Renault Twizy is barely larger than normal scooters that makes it easy to park this car. The instruments used in the car are laid out in an easy to read format that makes it effortlessly operable. All of them are grouped in honeycomb structures and are visually differentiated. The instruments are located at the precised eye level, which not only makes it easier for the driver to drive but also makes it more user-friendly and thereby it leads to the experience of perfect driving.
Coming to its technical specifications, this car uses a twenty horsepower electric motor. The lithium ion batteries, which power the car, are mounted below the seats because that helps in lowering the center of gravity and thereby helps in the proper functioning of the vehicle. One has to take care of the fact that it’ll take just over 3 hours to charge the batteries. The charge will be possible through an extendable cord, which is located right behind the Renault logo in the front of the car.
