Nissan Leaf is an all-electric hatchback, which was launched worldwide by the Japanese auto major during 2011. A quick charge port is also provided as standard in the car that allows it to get 80 per cent charged within 30 minutes at various public charging stations. The company claims that Nissan Leaf can deliver a fuel economy figure of a whopping 54 kmpl on highway and 43 kmpl on city roads. The car features no tailpipe as there are no CO2 emissions from this hatchback that can pollute the environment. This eco-friendly car is available in the global market within a price range of approximately Rs. 15 lakh – Rs. 19 lakh.
