      Audi cars have an eclectic zing that sets them apart from other makes and thus have made them a popular name among automobile buffs. The first plug-in hybrid car from Audi, the German automobile manufacturer, is all set for orders for its customers in Europe. Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is all set to scorch the streets on fire and it is expected than over 400 dealers of Audi cars in Europe are ready for orders. Among these, some 105 are said to be in Germany alone.       The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron combines an electric motor and a 1.4 TFSI gasoline engine, which together generates a system output of approximately 150 kW. Fuel consumption of the Audi A3 sportback car is well in accordance with the NEDC benchmark at a meagre 1.5 litres of fuel for 100 kilometres. The CO2 emissions have been closely monitored and it was found that it charts to a standard of 35 grams for every kilometre (56.3 g per mile). Audi cars are known worldwide for their monstrous power and this model churns up a normal of 50 kilometres when powered by electricity alone and more than 900 kilometres under combined mode. With the base price made quite attractive in Europe, the Audi car dealers in India will wait eagerly to launch the variant in the country for the Indian customers.

      Some other aspects promised by the automobile giant in the all-new Audi A3 sportback car is a compact luxury hatchback, which can achieve not only 157 mpg but can also hit a mean 138 mph. Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is packed with the latest 150 hp 1.4 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Together with a 102 hp electric motor, this Audi car is sure to wow its global customers. Its battery has an approximate energy capacity of 8.8 kWh and can be effortlessly charged within 2.5 hours using a 16 A power outlet. The variant has five doors and has a five seat arrangement with a total weight of nearly 1580 kilograms. Though the wait has been quite a long one for the e-tron, the technical specifications surely promise to be completely worth it.
