Film making is a high-risk activity though it does offer a large amount of money, fame and success if an individual clicks. Shooting of action movies is something that intrigues a lot of people and the level further increases if cars are involved. A great example of the same would be the recently released Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang, which has a scene featuring Roshan driving one of the best Formula One cars on the streets of Abu Dhabi. Use of F1 cars in Bollywood films is something that is unheard of and this development is going to be a huge attraction for a lot of viewers. Seeing their favourite actors drive Mercedes F1 cars is something that many fans look forward do these days. The director of the film, Siddharth Anand, reportedly contacted the racing circuit in Abu Dhabi to enquire about Lotus F1 cars and managed to succeed in hiring one for the shoot. Not only did he get the car, the director got a special team to stay on standby to ensure there were no glitches.

Speaking to the media about this development, Siddharth Anand said, ""It's an intense, high-energy action sequence and this is the first time you will see a Hindi film hero driving a racing car on the streets. Hrithik was trained to handle the machine for the stunt because these cars are not like your regular four-wheelers. There are gears on the steering wheel and the power behind the bonnet and the throwback is very different. It's like letting a tiger loose on Linking Road." Hrithik Roshan is considered to be one of the best actors in the Indian film industry and he was also thrilled after the experience of driving Formula One cars. "It is the best adrenaline rush I've ever experienced. And to experience it amidst the visually stunning and smooth road ways of Abu Dhabi was just incredible. What a rush." Be it Mercedes F1 cars or Lotus F1 cars, the sight of them in a film is something that a cinema buff will never forego. This moment, use of F1 cars in Bang Bang, will be counted among the most iconic moments of Indian cinema.

Bang Bang is based on Hollywood action film Knight and Day, which starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Though it is an official remake of the Hollywood film, actor Hrithik Roshan has gone ahead to claim that it is not the same. Regardless of the fact, his fans would be looking forward to see their beloved star behind the steering wheels of F1 cars. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and though she will not be driving any of the Formula One cars, many action sequences have been done by her.
