Audi New Q5 third-gen

Model launch date: 

The next-gen Audi Q5 is likely to be launched in India in June 2025. 

Feature list: 

On the design front, the new Q5 gets an octagonal grille, sweptback matrix LED headlamps, contrast-coloured inserts on either side of the front bumper, and large alloy wheels. Further, it receives a chrome window line, shark-fin antenna, flush roof-rails, new wraparound LED taillights, LED light bar on the tailgate, and dual tip exhausts. 

Inside, the SUV comes equipped with an all-black interior theme, three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, three screens dominating the dashboard, and more. Further, the centre console is oriented towards the driver. 

Engine, performance, and specifications: 

Globally, the next-gen Audi Q5 will be offered with 2.0-litre TFSI, 2.0-litre TDI, and 3.0-litre TFSI engines paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The power is sent to all four wheels with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system mated to a DCT gearbox. 

Variants: 

The 2025 Q5 could be available in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. 

Safety:  

The new Q5 has not been tested by an NCAP body as yet. 

Competition: 

Once launched, the third-generation Q5 will rival the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, and the Volvo XC60.
