I want to purchase an used bajaj tempo traveler, 2006 model commercial vehicle. The stste permit expires on oct.2011. It has been previouly registered in the suburban area RTO located in Kancheepuram Dist of Tamilnadu(TN 22). It has been stated by Force Co. that the new Euro II/III tempo traveler vehicles will not be registered in Chennai,Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur Districts in Tamilnadu. pl. clarify whether we will face any problem when we renew the permit of the above vehicle in the same RTO Office.

Hi,
The rule is applicable for the new vehicles and there is no issues with transfer of ownership of already registered vehicles. Hence you can go ahead with reconfirmation from concerned RTO.
