1. Best will be Ritz, as it has better milage (21 KM) compared to Vista (19 KM) and Punto (20KM).
2. Maintenance will be same for Ritz and Vista and will be less for Punto (15,000Km service interval)
3. Resale value will be good for Ritz and Vista. But you dont buy a Punto you own it. If you are planning to sell the vehicle after 3 years, then Punto is a big no for you. As Punto will give you no problem even after 12 years of running on road or even after 400,000 Km on road

I am surprised why the SWIFT VDI is not one of yours choice, When your Budget is between 5-5.5 Lacs.It is better than any DIESEL HATCHBACK.Whether you count for Comfort,Mileage , Resale Value is also good even after 3-4 years.
The Next suitable option will be Indica Vista with Fiat Quadrajet Engine which gives the mileage of 20 KMPL.

i agree with Mr iyer's answer ,ur first choice should be Ritz then viste and third punto .marutis have the maximum resale value in india .punto is a quality car but resale after three years will be an issue ,whereas vista wiil be good if u have compartively rough usage, but has better resale than the punto.

I own a RITZ diesel, it is a good car with good pick up, engine, smooth run but lacks solid built up feel of FIAT. I would have preferred FIAT PUNTO to RITZ and would ready to sell off though no problems with RITZ.
