You can go for Punto Diesel it will fetch you 14kmpl or Swift

Your budget is on the higher end for a petrol hatchback(excluding i20 and jazz). If you are looking for brand new car only, then VW polo would be a good choice. I am not sure but check out with FIAT about the punto sports.
If you don't mind buying a used car, which I think would be wise , you can go for HONDA CITY(dolphin). Believe me it's really cheap to maintain and has fantastic fuel economy(14-15 in city and 18-19 on highway). You can get an excellent condition car in your budget range. Posted: 2906 day(s) ago |
The VW POLO will be the best for you in this much amount you can get the top model and your worry about milage,Its a car from Volkswagon it gives 17.2 kmpl in patrol.

Surprisingly, and out of context to your question, Abhijit's suggestion of the Honda City is a great one. It is a lot more car, and the life and efficiency of the car are legendary. It has no real maintenance costs and you can get used ones in great condition. Put the money you save in the bank and enjoy free fuel!

I think a good option for you to consider would be the tata Vista Drivetech4. If you haven't seen it already go here www.surpriseyourself.in You will get all the information and can even take a virtual tour of the car. It fits ur specifications perfectly and it's a good car. I have taken it for a TD. Try it out.

Thanks every one for their comments. I test drove VW Polo petrol version, i feel the car is under powered n noisy engine. I felt VW polo petrol more like driving a diesel car. Jazz n i20 are out of my budget. Honda City is good option for used car, but i want a brand new car... What to choose?

Hi,
In the budget range mentioned and for the requirments.Maruti Suzui Rtiz would be a good choice. Posted: 2906 day(s) ago |

You are right about Polo being under powered. Same will be true for Punto 1.2. Punto is a good choice if you can opt for the diesel car or the petrol car(either 1.3 or 1.4 cc) with bigger engine which has 90bhp power.
At 5.75 as your budget..i20 petrol should be possible. Posted: 2905 day(s) ago |
Yes I too would advise you to either go in for the i20 or the new vista. You should take both cars for a test drive and gauge for yourself which one suits you better. That's the best advice anyone could give u.

Hey Sarvna, the i20 is a good option if u r interested only in looks. If u dont wana go for the used honda city then in my opinion, in today's market the vista drivetech4 should be ur choice. Its new and its a Tata car. I have been hearing rave reviews about it and I'm a satisfied Tata customer myself. U can be assured about the service, comfort, space and most importantly performance! I had taken a test drive just for fun and I seriously considered buying it! ha ha Its great for family car and fr city driving. But like others are saying, the best way to judge is by taking a test drive yourself. Take a look at http://bit.ly/cxEmtb

Santro Xing 2007 many fitment centers have recommended me conventional kit as it will suffice the requirement in the conventional kit we have open loop and closed loop system after comparison i found closed loop is more smart as it will have less impact on performance and not needed frequent manual tuning I have been recommended for the brand Mijo which will consist stepper motor to control CNG and Lamaba for feedback and TAP Pls suggest what are the drawbacks of having motor to control CNG I also checked Kit from other companies like Lovato, Tomasetto but end of the day i found these companies do not have any control on distributors or fitter everyone will make their own success story and try to convince the customer
