I wanted to by a diesel car I have a option between Swift

dear Naqueeb, after 6-month we put same quwstion but in msrch 16 i am purchase swift vdi model and drive 1600km .
1--superb pik up in diesel (.30sec 80 speed)
2--fuel avg is 17km per litre in delhi (hustle-bustle)road.
3--sports look / and correct sitting position(
4--maruti after sale servise is beteer(aviod extra charge of servising time)like rain paint/engine police/allingment.etc
rellay a city/family car so go to swift

Among the two Swift would be the better selection for better mileage,comfort and style.

the swift does look good and drives equally well too. but on a personal opinion, i'd go for the vista as the vista is not a bad looker either. most important, tata'a have a "more reliable" after sales service almost as well spread as maruti. but the ONLY reason i would personally choose the vista over the swift is the body strength. if all u desire is style, may be as people as the swift looks better, then go for the swift. but u looking for style and the safety of ur family that travels in it, the vista is a better option. i definitely feel you would prefer your family's life over a few kms average. and anyways the engine in 99% same in both the cars.
I see the vista as a safety vault considering its build quality and strength and i see the swift as a plastic matchbox. no wonder the pick up is better, barely any weight to pull.
hence, if u a family man --- get the vista, loks good, drives well, keeps ur family safe.

Hi I ask you to go for Swift Diesel as the engine is Very powerful the Sitting position is also great, In looks both are good but when it come to inside swift look little better with the dash quality plastic.

Without any doubt its the Swift diesel. Nothing to beat the value proposition of the swift. Great looks, superb international engine and great pricing. Its not for nothing that there is such a long waiting list for it. If it is falling in your budget, then just go for it. Its a worry free car with power on demand.
