I have purchased 2003 model Tataindica it already crossed 55000km, now a days when we travel more than 100km suddenly the engine was off. and we wait for some time and get started. What is the reason for it?

Check your car temp gauge.if its hiting more than half you have to see your coolent system.There are possibilities of thermal expansion of your piston & piston rings due to over heat.Which jams the Engine

It must be because of overheating of engine. Check for coolant & radiator fan working or not.

You have not brought out the the terrain you are driving,is it in the hills or congested / rickety highway highway .Please clarify.

Youhave not mentioned wether its petrol or diesel version. Generally this type of problem arise due to overheating of engine or due to malfunctioning of fuel pump/ fuel injection pump.Please get the same inspected at authorised service center. Posted: 4480 day(s) ago |

Seems to be a coolant issue. Check for coolant levels. Get a coolant flush and refill done.

Check for coolant & radiator fan working or not, And you should cleaned your radiator with a good mechanic I must say you should check the fuses of your car because your car sudden stop.
