I got your email Id from one of my friend.
I recently bought a Santro Xing 2006 model, The A/C of this vehicle is not company fitted. now the problem is when switch on the A/C the vehicle did not pull, if accelerate slowly it will pull, even without A/C also the vehicles initial pulling is low, the vehicle now covered 53000 kms. the vehicle giving a mileage of 15-16 kms. In national Highways and in top gear after 40Kms speed the vehicle is very smooth. How can identify the problem of the vehicle.

Hi,
When the AC is switched on the compressor takes some power of engine and hence piickup reduces by some margine.For the redued pickup the fuel supply system ie throttle body needs to be inspected/serviced. Posted: 4756 day(s) ago |

You need to get your compressor motor and Throttle body checked for this problem.

Check the belts for all drives may be needing change

The AC hasa been fitted thru a non cowned dealer who do not normally check all the systems.Check the throttle,compressor motor and belt. Further it would be advisable to go to a company authorised dealer to help you out with this. They may send you to an outside source who is attached with them, who may be more competent and will check the system correctly.
