What is the advantage disadvantage of low profile tyres

Advantages: Good fuel efficiency, vehicle stability lower center of gravity and good steering response
Disadvantages: Less Tyre life,High maintenance, will face more wear-and-tear, punctures etc - Still Not suitable for many Indian Roads.
You should go for which is best best suits your car and recommended by the manufacturer.

I do not agree that it has such disadvantage. We will have to hear from a Tyre Expert as the technology has expanded,the manufacturers will not fit that tyres which are bad for indian roads.The advantages are there but disadavantages you have to check with Tyre Manufacturers.It has recently come in the market and the other knowledgeable owners can react and give their experience.

Hi,
Low profile tyres does improve image of car,also improves steering responce.Disadvantage is the higher cost, lower rim width and hence ground clearence.Its best suited for driving in smooth roads.
