ALL the parts are available from few traders in Ahmedabad. For right price you need to explore two or more traders & of course you need to pay higher price than normal market price. For alternator I got repaired/replaced of Matiz I paid Rs 1500 + Rs 250 labour. The same thing could be possible with Maruti 800 @Rs less than 1000. However the same repairing if you want to get carried out for Honda or equivalant shall be done at more than Rs. 2500 to Rs. 4500.

The parts availability in Delhi is too good!

Repairing in small sector could be difficult.

I totally agree with Rajesh, as here in Bangalore I too faced similar problems for my Matiz, but it is not that difficult to get spares, it is still avilable but little more you need to shell out, as Dealers with a excuse of closure of company are taking advantage in arranging spare parts, but no so severe crunch. As most of Maruti 800 parts can fit into Matiz category, but Brakes/Clutches and engine parts are little worry. I never tried with Spark parts, but you check with Mechanics for the same. As mentioned by Rajesh and Joshi, Matiz spares are available but need to shell out extra buck and best thing to do will be to leave at a good mechanic shop.They will take care of bringing spares.

Spare parts are available in bangalore, Recently i replaced brake shoe with wheel cylinder, ac condenser and lower art (zen parts perfectly fitted)...so far no major issues
