Thanks for article on new upcoming cars in 2010. For Hatchbacks specially Diesel will it be worth waiting few months for Polo, Micra or Figo compared to Vista quadrajet?
What I guess details is that POlo and Micra will have three cylinder engines.Is Vista with diesel fiat engine better than expected from new launches? Figo from Ford may have Fiesta engine but maintenance cost etc can be high.
There are year end discounts also available on Vista. Pls consider above details and help with your view.

It will be worthwile waiting for new launches in 2010 provided there is no urgent need to buy the car.As there is tough competition inhatchback segment , the manufactureres tend to introduce new models or upgrade existing models oncontinues basis and hence it wil again become tough decisionto make at later stage. As far as discount offer is concerned, all manufacturers come up with discount offers as sales are comparitively lesser indecember as customers prefer new year registration which in turn boost resale value little bit. Vista is a great value for the money invested and it will certainly have its market value for atleast 5 years more or till Tata come up wit other hatchback model.Overall worth going for the same.
