I have Chevy SPARK.When I apply Parking/ Hand brakes during parking, the rear wheel feels stuck up and the car starts with a jerk as if some obstacle is blocking the wheel. Please tell the cause and remedy.

Hi,
The parking brakes are ment to hold the rear wheels.The jerking problem could be either because brakes not releasing properly or the driver forgetting to disengage the hand brake completely.For first reason, the brake drum/shoe needs to be checked and rapaired, for second reason, driver has to be careful in using parking brakes.
