LPG conversion has worked well for petrol engines, but the economical advantage won't be yours until you cover about 20,000 kms after conversion. LPG is a cleaner fuel, and will not adversely affect your maintenance. Your engine will, if anything, run smoother on LPG.

Dear friend , i think it is best idea to keep the car as it is, and you after conversion you will not get optimum power, if u can sacrifice power for running cost then i suggest you for CNG conversion. i like to tell you i am an automobile engineer and have more then 30 years exp in this trade. out of which 6 years works manager in daewoo dealership workshop.

Hi,
The selction between CNG and LPG mainly depends upon supply in your region. With installation of LPG/CNG kit the maintenance costs are bound to increase in long term virtually leading to selling after two years or so.However the running cost will be lower than petrol after 20000 KM or so. Hi am mr.joshi from Bangaloe and have Daewoo Matiz car since 1 year, what is your opinion about this car? As I was not too happy with the car, was having Maruti 800 and quite happy with car, but after buying Matiz my happiness of driving a car is reduced becos of too much maint of this car, so I thought of selling this car, but most of my friends and even mechanics have given good opinion about this car and said this Matiz superior than 800, santro & even indica. So being works manager for daewaoo cars for solong what's your opinion on this car? as I still dont want to sell this car, many thanks. S-Joshi - Bangalore Posted: 4883 day(s) ago |

remember 1 thing. gasoline i.e petrol or diesel are best for the engine life of the respective vehicles. going lpg is not a very good option. u dont get any great mileage with it. secondly it ruins ur engine third it drops the pick up of ur vehicle.
