i am planning to buy car in small segment, i had visited cheverolet showroom for spark ls model they are offering heavy discount(47K) as compared to santro xing(7K)BUT HYUNDAI EXECUTIVE has told G.M.HAD WORLDWIDE PROBLEM, IT HAS NO RESALE VALUE,SPARK HAS LOW MILAGE THEN SANTRO, SO THEY OFFERING DISCOUNT.PLEASE TELL WHATS FACT.PL SUGGEST ME,FOR WHICH CAR SHALL I GO(SPARK,SANTRO,WAGON-R)SHALL I WAIT UP TO DIWALI FOR ANY OFFER.

Hi,
Spark has its own merits as that of Santro.The offer fo Spark is worth going for.The Spark has the least maintenance costs inits segment and also backed up withexcellent earrantu back up.The GM in India is very stable and not a thing toworry as long as the car and its performance are satisfactory. Spark is a good quality car and value for money. GM India is quite stable and have long term plans for Indian operations. Other than 47 k discounts, you save more money on mantainence cost for 3 yrs. We are quite satisfactory with the car and GM is expanding its service centres in India. Long term if you get few thousands less also in resale the santro, today u r putting much less money in. So go for it.

You should go for the Spark. I have had one for more than 1 year and 5 months and it has never given any problem. Santro is already a dated design and isn't exciting anymore. Also, the refinement in terms of ride, handling and engine is better in the Spark. The downside of the Spark is that it has a small luggage space and the pick up is not as peppy as the Santro, due to its 999cc engine. By the way, in the June 2009 issue of Autocar India, they have a 16,970km report of the Spark that they had on their long term test fleet. Check that out, if you can find the mag.

Hyundai Executive is talking Bulshit ( sorry ) but the truth
is he is afraid of Spark and wants to sell his Santro. These are bad Sales tactics and nothng More. Go for the Spark- LS model and ask the dealer to add music system, keyless entry, Film on glasses to give very good cooling effect and I am sure U and ur family will be happy U made the right choice. Milage on highways is above 16 km/ltr. AC on digit 1 gives superb cooling effect. For other cars regulator needs to be put on 3 & 4. Overall a very good car. Posted: 5001 day(s) ago |
