Hi Shiva,
I am having a hachback & looking for a top end family car which can accomodate 6 ~ 7 easily. I have taken test drive for all available SUVs ie. Innova, Safari, Scorpio, Xylo. Eliminated Safari for its poor performance recorded in past, Eliminated Innova for not being value for money in 12L ~ 12.5L.
Scorpio is really an Indian SUV but is the best for only 2 persons including a driver as it has the worst interior space legspace in middle & 3rd row. But the power is best. Xylo is good combination car, nice interiors designs, enough foot space & overall a nice deal.
So I freezed for Xylo top end ie. E8 with ABS. But I am afraid as it is very recently launched & in future how it will perform. I should not regret in coming days for opting Xylo. How will be its Engine performance & overall maintainance? Any vibrations/sounds from interiors or engine??
I am planning to buy it in coming 15~20 days.
I am eager to have your expert comments, imformation, suggestions. Comfort & value for money is my main constraint not a cost of the vehicle.
Please suggest.

i own a xylo for the past month.
i'm quiet happy with the performance so far. since it comes from the same family of vehicles as a scorpio which has been proved to be dependable, i am quiet confident Mahindra will not let us down. the main attraction for my interest towards the xylo was its price point wrt innova. i'd recommend folks to try out xylo. time will only tell if our assumptions are right or wrong....... Hi,
Xylo is a good option for its improved version engines, interior space, comfort level.Though it can not be gaurentied its trouble free vehicle, considering the points that its improved version of Scorpio which is quite successful in terms of performance, there is good warranty and service back up from Mahindra.You can always expect it to give satisfactory service.
