For the requirments mentioned, Tata Indica or Indica Vista will be the best suited car.

As your running is good, it will be better to take the Diesel option. No doubt maintenance cost will be little more as compared to Petrol,but it is very marginal and for this alone,you should be able to run around 2000 0r 3000 Kms per month,to offset any increase in maintenace cost in overhauling the Diesel Fuel Injection sytem at every Lakh kms or so.There are few more filters,which ,are required for replacement during that kilage.

as per ur requirement diesel vehicle is better option for u, all depend on ur budget,vista,swift and fiet palio, 3 different car withe same diesel engine so u can pick any of ur choice,price tag is inbtw 5.55lacs, and if u can spend little more thn go for ford ikon tdci, gr8 strong car wid powerfull engine and u will get 3 yrs and 1lac kms warrenty and its abt 5.80lacs, but u knw its a sedan so..u can think abt it..take care and good luck for ur new car.

Hi, Diesel car would be best for u. Go for Swift, Ritz or Vista Quadra jet for economy. Else u can opt for Grande Punto.

I think even u should have a look at Hyundai Gets CRDI, because it is equipped with Verna's engine, the best diesel engine ever in Indian market with both Luxurious smoothness & the great milage,greatest spacious & strongest too.... & if your budget is little more then even new I20 is also next upgraded option available....

do not buy Tata Indica as it will give you headach i am suffuring, Indica car is not suitable to use in rainy season cos all water enters in Cabin and company technicians canot fix it, if you buy Indica you have to cover it with tarpolin while driving in rain.
