What is the best deal between Spark basic model with ac

As per your budget and as per my experience with my Alto of 2 years, Alto is the best car for you. Low maintenance, high milage, efficient AC, compact in size, best for small family, any where service, cheapest spares, more over INDIAN vehical. Last but not least you can buy Alto with blind eyes.

Hi,
There is difference if power output of Spark and Alto.Aalto has power output of 46BHP ad available at price range of 2.5 to 3.0 lac.Where as Spark has power output of 63 BHP and comes with AC and price ranges from 3.5 to 4.0Lac. Considering overall performance, reliability, budget range it will be worth going for a Alto.

i am using my alto from last 4 and half years, and i think that is the chepest car inthe world, i have hundai I10 also but for each and every angel alto is best into small car section.

I believe the basic A.C. Spark should be around 3 L after reducing all discounts. (Spark / GM is offering 3 yrs extended warranty as well) While A.C. Alto should be around 2.7 L on road. It's worth paying that 30 K premium for Spark. Non A.C. Alto may be around 2.4 L on road. Alto parts will be cheper , Maintanance will be cheper , better fuel efficiency but only 46 BHP. But Spark will carry you better on highways because of better power - 63 BHP. Resale better for Alto.
But my heart would go for Spark if I would be in your place as it is a much better Car in terms of ride comfort , Pick up , noiseless etc.
Please try once and than decide. If you can't drive take somebody who can & sit beside & check.

Alto anyday. Service backing and availability of spares is beyond comparasion with any other brand. It is the best in small car segment

AS YOUR BUDGET IS 3 LACS I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO GO FOR ALTO LXI AS IT IS BEST IN OVER ALL PERFORMANCE.AS FAR AS ON ROAD PERFORMANCE IS CONCERNED THIS IS OUTSTANDING IN ALL ASPECTS I.E. MILEAGE,POWER ETC.

For Best performance reliability economy service availabilty maruti will be in first positon.Iam using Maruti Alto LXI since 2 years >I use to run 100 km daily. With good performance High Fuel effeciencey Ultimate Ac Condition Alto LXI will stand top position when compare to Spark spark have no resale value because of poor fuel economy.
Dont buy basic model LX u buy Alto Lxi which have superb power steering for joy ful and safe driving
Go for Alto LXI

i prefer you to go with alto as it is a trusted brand with wide range of service network.i am using alto from last 7 years and believe me there no mechanical problem in the car.So dont think about any other car and just go for Alto

I would suggest you go for ALTO LXI. Even if the budget was not a constraint I would still have suggested for ALTO for these reasons.
1) Alto running expenses is quite low as compared any Spark.
2) Alto will always command better resale value.
3) Alto is very reliable car, having driven more than 70K I never had any instance of breakdown.
4) The only thing which I always felt was it was under power when AC is switched on, but then its OK for the price it comes in.

ALTO - (+)Good mileage, Low maintenance costs, reliable service all over India, good resale value even after 5 years.
(-) Sharp drop of power if switch on A/c, built-on 800 platform, engine-is-going-to-be-outdated, as maruti is replacing it all models with new "K" series engine in a phased manner.

If A/c is must for your driving, don't go for ALTO. or else please proceed. But it would be a nice decision if you opt for A-star, as its engine is new and latest model.
Based on my experience, i can rate as follows,
Best below 3 Lakhs - ALTO LXI
Best below 4 Lakhs - HYUNDAI SANTRO GLS
Best below 5 Lakhs - SWIFT VXI
Best below 6 Lakhs - FIAT Grand Punto
Then it's your own decision as it is your hard earned money.
