being a wagonr owner, i wud obviously advice for the same. however, ur budget, and choice matters...maruti is not so good on interiors, hyundai is good interiors, but when it comes to spares/services, maruti wins hands down...hyundai still does not have as many indegenious parts manufacturers...or maybe the snob value - hyundai is a poorer option compared to the maruti.
LXi is with power steering, VXI has power steering + power windows -among other not so convincing add-ons...take your own decision.

Hi Mr. Sathish,
I am having Wagnor lxi, 2003 model( petrol ), I purchased a new one. Until now I didnt face any major problem with this vehicle. The positive side is (a) Less parking space (b) Good mileage (c) Less maintenance (d) Good pickup e) Long distance driving more comfort. The Only draw back I found is, in rough roads this vehicle is not so good. I think Wagnor will be the right choice for a middle group family, in cost wise and luxury wise.

Had wagon R for last 9 years. No major problem yet. With respect to santro has better power, same tried on mountain winding roads and found wagon r better. Yes wagon r is more spacious for leg room and aft dicky space is also more. But gears of santro are very smooth, looks of santro is better. no idea of I10 and I20.Never buy wagon r without power steering- it will feel like a truck.
