Hi Rajesh-opt out of the Swift Dzire or the indica vista. Rear seat ride is good in both. The suspension setting is godo enough for driving over bad roads without getting too much bumps felt inside. logan also has a good back seat, but i would not recommend that since the other aspects in the car do not fit in the overall perspective. have a test drive done over some really bad roads with you in the backseat and then decide.

In my opinion, you can try Innova or Fiat Petra. Both have super quiet diesel engines and super smooth suspensions and excellent drivability and comfort.

Go for Maruti or Ford. You can think about Hyundai too if they have anything within tthat price range. Ford will be little expensive in terms of servicing and spairs cost.

I would suggest go for SX4 , you probably end up paying a bit more but the drive would be much better on bumpy tracks with large wheel and highest ground clerance.

In the budget range mentioned and for the requirments, Tata Indigo CS wil be a good option.

nothing can touch the ride quality of a ford or a fiat on bad roads,i would suggest u give the linea and fiesta a shot and then decide between the two,there are a lot of good cars in your budget but i think with your requirements these two fit in perfectly.but pls consider these cars cost about 6.5 to 6.8 lakhs so consider that.In your budget I feel there is no harm in going in for an year old fiesta diesel,u'll get one for about 5.5 lakhs.Or if nothing works out go in for the ikon diesel,u won't regret it...

Taking into consideration u travel 100 kms everyday a petrol will not do so I suggest wait for a while and then go in for the new Indigo . Tata is going to launch it anytime soon . It looks awesome and has the 1.3 quadrajet diesel tuned to 90 bhp . If you are in a hurry then decide between the ikon dsl or dezire dsl they both fit into your budget just perfectly . but do no go in for the current range of INDIGOS they are pretty much outdated .

With the range of 4-6 lacs. Its good to look at Swift (D) and also Grande Punto. Punto has a great space and awesome features.
