As the model is an one year old stock and there can be possibility of using for test drives, you can ask for discount of minimum 25k negotiable upto 20k min.

Dear sir,

I wish to purchase ZEN Estilo in exchange with my old Maruti Std.800 in this week.In total they are offering discounts as follows.
Consumer discount in Jharkhand.-Rs250000,Exchange bonus-Rs12500,Valuation of old car is Rs.12500.Total works out to 50000/-.which is almost same in Zen as well as wagon R.
Now they are having 2 nos of VXI in yellow and one of VXI with airbag and asb option in sampaign beige of zen estilo which they cant able to sell since Feb,09.
I had asked further discount taking advantages of stuck inventory hold with them.They had further agreed to discount 10000/-more with a sony music system alongwith 4 speakers worth 7000/.Thus total discount will be near to 67000/-.Now problem is as Zen Astilo is going to stop this model as they are going to launch the new modelon 23rd Aug,09 I am little shaky to take decision.whichever is car I will have I will go to keep atleast for coming 7 to 8n yrs.My budget is again in between 3 lacs to 3.20 lacs after Down payment thru exchange and other discounts which in this case it is meeting my budget of initial down payment also.Should I go for Wagon R or Astilo(extra discount of 20000/-in compare to Wagon R. Or I should ask more discount on Astilo as the production of same is closed.Please advice what to do.Kindly revert as the earliest possible.

Hi,
Mr Rak Kumar Panda.
It wil be a good idea to postpone the decision till 23rd August.Later decide upon to go for the exchange offer one or new one.As vheicle in offer is old stock there are chances that it will continues to be available for next one week atleast. Also it is always advisable to go for a car with which you can feel completely satisfied instead of taking decision based on discount offers.
