Ive always fancied buying a Honda City 1 5 2002 03
Ive always fancied buying a Honda City 1.5 (2002-03). however since its 2009, i have been ill adviced to buy a second hand car. Recently i came across an ad for a Honda City 2002 model, 55000 kms at Rs. 275,000. Can you help me evaluate whether this would be a good buy? How long can i expect the honda city to run smoothly without becoming a maintenance nightmare?

Trust me. Honda City is a very good car. A 1.5 cc engine will not give you more than 12 km average but the performance is at par excellance. The sytle and look is never to be questioned. honda city is a great car.i guess even if u use it for 1lac+ kms it should'nt be a problem.the price quoted is just a bit high,try and get the price till 2.40.check the suspension,the interiors,the engine,the paint and if everything is in order,then just go for it.

Honda City is never a maintenance nightmare, Its the best machine u can ever own. But yes, the price is bit high for a 2003 model, it should be around 2.3L to 2.45L depending on the condition of the vehicle, I suggest you get it checked by a professional and then buy

Very good choice, I bought a City 2001 for Rs.3.50 Lac in 2005, @ 80000 Kms done. So for it working nice and complited 1,25,000 Kms, still it may work for another 2,00,000 Kms.
