Power: Scorpio
NVH: Scorpio Handling: Scorpio Rear Seating: Scorpio For Six People: Innova For Smooth Ride: Innova Maintainance: Innova Fuel Efficiency: Both are same A.C.: Innova is better compared to Scorpio Music System: Innova (built in speakers) Space Utilization: Innova (lot of space for keeping loose pieces) Type of Use: Rough & Tough: Scorpio; Urban Use: Innova This is because of low ground clearance for Innova. Tyre Wear: Smooth Ride is always suspectible for more tyre wear. However, it also depends on how one follows tyre rotation schedules and regular wheel alignments. Tubeless tyres are better than tyres with tube. Scorpio Tyres are costliest among all SUV's. Cost: Scorpio is value for money. Hope this helps: Posted: 4243 day(s) ago |
hello Sir,
according to our knowledge u r luking 4 a mahindra scorpio. we do have a scorpio DLX(2003). its is a very good condition n u cal also see the pictures of it in cartrade site. u can contact me on my number tht is 9883091192/9830783777 Posted: 4243 day(s) ago |
One draw back of the Scorpio is the body roll (this basically is the way the body swings side-2-side). I haven't checked the reason but usually happens due to high centre-of-gravity. The car is not very good for high speeds on uneven roads and I experienced this on a recent long journey where my Taxi Scorpio behaved very differently from the Innova on the same stretch of road. Best Option for holiday driving are the estate's (large luggage area, I even carry my daugters Cycle on my Siena Weekend), but you can accomodate only 5 people. I would advice Innova and then the safari. If you have budget check out Skoda Octavia Combi or the else FIAT Palio Weekend(not sure if it is still available) and the lastly the Indigo Marina.

I've had a Scorpio for over 5 years. I have driven it from Chandigarh to Kanyakumari and back doing 10,000 km. Excellent performance and mileage. Then driven from Chandigarh to Ladakh via Manali and return via Kargil and Srinagar. Crossed Khardungla pass at 18,380 ft to Siachin base camp. Great in all road conditions and no loss of power even at 18,000 ft with mileage of 10 kmpl in those driving conditions. Also drive often to Delhi and good pickup for safe overtaking. Will be changing it this year and definitely get another Scorpio. Its great to drive and I have driven upto 700 km in a day without any fatigue. Also great value for money. In almost 60,000 km except for servicing cost other maintenance cost has been almost nothing.

Scorpio is good one for family weekend trips with family. Innova is only good as taxi.

hi Sunil,
have been using Scorpio VLX fully loaded for past one year, enjoyed every moment of owning it....Great on Indian roads, especially the bad ones. You may find the quality of fit and finish a wee bit lower than a Toyota product but, rest is best for a owner driven vehicle. Infact my dad who is 65 yrs old prefers my scorpio to his santro even for city driving...if you are ready to wait a few more months then you will have some more options in Toyota Fortuner and the Skoda Yeti... Well I dont know How can a scorpio even MATCH a SAFARI.....if u want a real SUV then go for a Safari and not a box shaped pain in the neck vehicle like scorpio....the rear seats are not at all comfortable and i would say the shape is ugly.....SCORPIO....nah a better option is a maruti 800....go for a safari......

manufacturing fault so all the door got rusted from the bottom side and Mahindra body shop centre are advising to change all the doors. For this work, I have to pay only 20 percent amount of total expenses. Are these door not repairable or it is a good idea to change all doors. because they will paint all doors.
