Can any one enlighten us that the AUTOMATIC transmission
Can any one enlighten us, that the AUTOMATIC transmission will come only with petrol engines fitted vehicles?? like the recent launch of i20 automatic in petrol model. is it not possible for the Diesel cars have this Automatic transmission? if no. why? is 120 diesel car also can be expected with this automatic transmission??

We have automatic transmission in diesel Vehicle as well, Mahindra Scorpio has Automatic version. There is a possibility for i20 Automatic, Wait for the Launch...

Good Question, I went for i20 launch and had asked the same question to MD HMIL, he said the Diesel is costly + automatic will be more costly, so the overall price may be quite high for a hatchback, though he didnt rule out that they will not launch such a vehicle in the future.
My take, it will take some time for i20 CRDI to come in AT. For your needs, you can look for Verna which is available with Automatic Transmission,after this the next range of diesel cars are around 15 L plus other than Mahindra Scorpio. Posted: 5078 day(s) ago |

Go for Scorpio automatic or Xylo automatic both in diesel with approximate cost of 10 and 8 lakhs respectively.
