You can get a higher end Scorpio for <11 Lakh, and if you have the budget of 18L, You may certainly go for Endeavour. I would not recommend Tavera or Safari for a Gypsy owner.

I am totally in agreement with Benny.
But, going by the names of SUVs in your mind, i presume money is not a constraint, keep the order of preference as Endeavor, Scorpio, Safari then Tavera.

Rule out the Tavera - its hardly an SUV. If you would like to consider the Tavera, then in MUV category the best option is the Innova. Out of the ones mentioned - nothing beats the endeavour. For true blue SUV lovers, the Safari offers a stupendous drive and comfort. However reliability is a big question (and has always been). Net net - if money no constraint - then endeavour. If budget is not permitting you to buy the endeavour then look at the scorpio or safari, but rule out the Tavera.

i would agree with the above answers. The tavera is a unuck. The safari is a good bet, but its interiors and finishing is a major drawback. The new scorpio is a much more finsihed vehicle. I would suggest the TATA XENON, which seems to promise a good bet. Considering your budget i would rank it like this- 1. Tata Xenon 2. Endeavour 3. Scorpio 4. Safari

I would suggest,that you go in for a Toyota Innova.Taking in mind,your family size of 10,it is better.However,if you want a SUV,then the Safari Dicor is very good value for money.

Mr. Venkat, as you are the pride owner of Gypsy from last 15 years, and you enjoyed the drive of 4x2 and 4X4 option which is available in gypsy. if you can prepare for the budget of 18 to 20 lacks you can opt and try for Ford Endeavour 4X4 a fully SUV. Take a test drive and feel the Drive which makes you once again a Pride ownership of SUV.

Hi,
Among the options mentioned, Endeavour costs more than 17Lac onroad hence stands apart from others. For your requirements mentioned New Tata Safari or Toyota Innova will be the best suited SUV.

If you service the endeavour at regular intervals, it is fine. Spare parts are expensive. Ride is good only in the first row. Middle and back seats, ride is very bumpy. It is a reliable vechicle.
