With so many cars coming into the market I am cofused to finally decide on my choice. I used Maruti800 for 15 yrs. upto 2003 before I was given a chauffer driven car by my employer. My requirement now would be driving on an average 5 to 10 Kms. daily with long drives upto say300 Kms. once in 6 months.MY budget may be around Rs.4.00 to 4.5 lacs. My choice would of course between i20.Swift,i10,fiat grande punto,skoda fabia.PLEASE help me narrow down my choice keeping in mind best driving comfort,fuel efficiency,low maintenance cost,higher ground clearance and reliability,economy in usage being uppermost in mind

Don't think you'll get either a swift or an i20 in the budget you've given. I wouold recommend the Grande Punto, it's the car that helped revive Fiat's fortunes in Europe and is a truly global car. Base model is 3.99 Lakhs, please check for your city.

Increase ur budget a bit and u can go for swift, Ritz (Basic models may be reachable in ur budget too)

Go for the Grande Punto.Swift is about to get a engine change.So till then i wont recommend Swift.Grande Punto is a great car.Go for it.

For a budget of 4 to 4.5L - i20, skoda fabia are out of question!
For a total distance of 10KM daily with RELIABILITY also being your concern you would have to rule out FIAT as well Now you are left with Swift and i10. If you are driving alone, Swift is a GREAT driver's car, otherwise for a sedate cruise i10 1.2 Kappa Magna is foolproof. Posted: 4743 day(s) ago |
