Hi Swaroopa, I would suggest you to buy new car. Take test drive for Hyundai I20 Magna (Rs 5,24000). It is spacious than Swift or Ritz. I have test driven all but found I20 most impressive with v good interiors, inbuilt music system are some of the features.

In the budget range mentioned and i20 will be an ideal selectin.Though little low in power than Ritz it has the advantage of better styling, features, Space.Recommended to test drive Punto 1.4.

I have taken a test drive of RITZ recently.
It was impressive. Seat height and roof height being more than that of SWIFT, I preffered Ritz. Swift has the problem of insufficient leg room at the rear seat, but Ritz has overcome all such problem.
I have booked Ritz but have not yet received it. So, I have no actual driving experience of Ritz. Remember, Boot space is a little less in Ritz.
I will suggest to buy new car only. It will give you peace and satisfaction.
Cost of spare parts and overeall maintenance is minimum for Maruti cars. As also the performance and life of car. I would suggest to go for Maruti RITZ.

your budget is good enough so u dont hav to think about petrol vehicle as nowdays u can drive very refined diesel engines so my suggestion will be swift diesel or indica vista, both r good cars with same engine( fiet 1.3 multijet) punto will be over budget otherwise it will b my first choice, so take a test drive of both vehicles and thn pick the best i have taken test drive of both the cars both r using same engine so thr is hadly any difference lookwise vista will b my first choice..and safety wise also i would like to go with tata.
