Where would I find the on road cost of Maruti esteem LX (Jamshedpur - Bihar reg)as of 1996 . I need to change the registration of the vechile and i have lost the invoice how to calculate the road tax for karnataka without the original invoice??/

The approx. invoice value of Esteem LX 1996 model may be Rs.4,70,000/- (On Road Price) at that time.
The RTO will depreciate the value based on the details of the Ex-Showroom Price, Road Tax Paid at that time. As on today the net road tax applicable for that segment may be 14% on the Net Present Value of the Vehicle(after depreciation). For further details you may contact the Maruti Show Room Manager for detailed guidance. Note: Donot entertain brokers as they will take advantage of this case.
