Fitting of CNG to Matiz is not recommended as maintenance cost would be increase much and also though parts are available, it will be difficult to get.

The spare parts of Matiz is sparingly available at a very steep price.Topping it up with a CNG kit may increase the maintenance cost and hence not recommended. Moreover a well maintained Matiz still gives out 21 KMPL, So why to opt out for CNG.

It's a deal, One can buy free Matiz at Rs 40 to 50,000 which includes Cng kit costs more than Rs 40,000. Parts in Ahmedabad is available however cost of repairing is beat costly. However it is not costlier than repairing Honda or GM vehicles & to some extent equivalent to santo & Zen estillo

If a genuine well maintained Matiz car(Irrespective of the Model) is available at Rs. 50,000. Please go for blindly since CNG kit itself costs more than Rs, 40,000. Buy one & get me two more for my friend & myself.

I advice you not to buy a Daewoo matiz even it is given at a lower price because spare parts are about to become scarce.

I personally feel Matiz looks better car, but maint is very costly as compared to the other equilent cars in this segment, and moreover this car is problematic in cooling & this problem is commonly faced by all the users of this car. But as you stated you can get a car with 40 & 50k why cng kit spending huge sum almost equilent of cost of the car, it gives a very decent mileage. So in my opinion dont go for CNG -- S Joshi Owner of Matiz Bangalore

To own a matiz was a good experience untill it started increasing my service bills. But truly speaking, a well maintained car is worth preserving. Spares in pune are readily available but they are not genuine and you have to shell out extra penny's for them. The car at this price tag is a good deal but i would prefer a petrol car if my running is not more than 30-40 kms per day. This care is far better than santro, zen and its rivals in terms of looks, performance and ofcourse its MILEAGE.

Bull shit. 2 year ago I purchased 2nd hand matiz with 26k Km run. This is my secondary car , in last 2 year i drives almost 20k with almost negisable maintaince cost ,Parts are easily available in mumbai as well as in pune .
