Is there any difference between the new ford Ikon & older version. Company has uplifted the exterior looks very similar to the fiesta. I want to know whether Driving Experience has improved in the New Ikon. I had Ikon 1.3 Nxt petrol few years back & I loved that car. Due to some superstitious reasons I sold it & bought Swift VXI. I really miss a sedan and want another new car. I have short listed Swift Dezire Vxi & New Ikon Petrol. Firstly I also short listed Accent Executive but it has very low sitting & very difficult for a 6 ft tall man to get in & out of this car.
I am very confused between the two cars. Which one to buy. I don't like the looks of Dezire as it has very odd shape body. Just look like Fatty with big bumps. But I am also afraid about the maintenance charges of Ikon. I have daily city driving about 15 kms & 300Kms on highway once in a month. What would be average in city & on highway of Ikon Petrol (with A.C. on). Please clear my confusion so that I can make the right decision. What would be yearly maintenance charges to keep Ikon in good shape.
I would like to know what would the final cost (on road price) of two cars & is Ikon good for future (referring it as very old model, I have romours that Ikon would be phased out from market in next 5 to 6 years). Awaiting for a quick reply from the ultimate car expert Mr. Shiv Shanker.
