I want suggestion for choosing between petrol and diesel

The mainonsiderations to be made are initial investment, comfort ,utility in short and long term basis etc.Petrol engines has advantage of lighter engines and hence faster pickup and more power than diesel version cars.Main disadvantgae of Petrol versions is the cost of fuel which is always greater by 10 to 15 Rs than Diesel.Diesel engines has the advantage of being more usefull for long drives and cost effective in long term usage.Cheaper price fordiesel is an added advantage.Though maintenance of both cars will be onlighter side during initial stages up to 50k km or so, the maintenance charges for diesel cars will be costlier than petrol versions for major repairs.
In short, if used in short ranges commonly and occasional Long trip,Petrol versions wil be good choice.If Regularly going for long drives then Diesel will be best to choose.
