While buying a new car, how can I be sure that I am getting a fair deal, i.e. all the fitments in the car are ok, nothing has been taken out or tampered with or no parts have been replaced? Also, that the car/engine is not one from the old stock?

Do we trust the dealer blindly? I have heard and read cases where dealers have been notorious, parts have been replaced, some have even been sold demo cars. A legal complaint may be an option, but thats too late! How can we save ourselves from such hassles??

In all the cars Chassis and Engine numbers are mentioned. The numbers include the series code, year code, month code, serial number. With that you can get idea of exact date of manufacture. As far as replacement of few parts is concerned, you will have to trust the dealer as you won't know if one or two parts might have changed during Pre delivery inspection which is to ensure everything is alright once car moves out. Other than this you will have warranty back up and hence need not worry much about vehicle maintenance at least during warranty period.

mostly in new vehicle very very low chance as ur thoughts. but in rare case when vehicles come from factory to show rooms by road lorry or driven. than it may got some problem . so the showroom changes broken items. but when we go to buy it is our duty to examine with our trusted mechanick before taken delivery. legal compaint or argument is no value after delivery .
