Hi,
I own a Wagon-R LXI 2008 model, 6000 KM done. Its a petrol version. I have 2 questions:

1> I wanted to convert it to LPG. Is that advisable, if yes when should I do that?

2> Any chance of replacing manual gear to auto gear. what would be the approx. cost & what woul be its impact on mileage.

LPG is not a good option , there are not muc benifit from perol. Actually both costs same, but LPG reduce the car pickup. So, it is not a good idea.
Auto gear not possible -- entire gearing system need to restructuring.

Hi,
Conversion to LPG from the existing petrol version is nort recommended for increased maintenane costs.Going for Automatic transmission involves lot of investment.which wont be of much utility considering manual transmission is good enough.

Both the conversions are highly encouraged. Not that they make any logical or financial sense, but to satisfy your itsy-bitsy itch.... For the records, LPG fuelled - AX version of Wagon R, was available in '08 when you bought yours.
