Can I buy a Black & Yellow Taxi Premier Padmini and convert it intoPrivate Vehical and use it in mumbai? what are the formalites for this?

Thats not at all a bright idea These taxis ar eso much abused more than used and it definately add up to the maintainence ann the paperwork for transferring the documents etc Why not straighaway go in for a private one Will surely save you a lot of time , formalities and money

Hi,
For converting taxi to owne purpose, you can visit nearest RTO and surrender the taxi permit and apply for own use registration. As for Padmini is concerned you can go for the same if available at cheaper price of around 25K. Posted: 4808 day(s) ago |

It will be wise if u go for a private vehile.These taxis are rough used and results u in more maintenance...Now its up to u..

What you can do is buy private but spray the black and the yellow paint, get the meter for charging and so on. Then it will be like the taxi, but 9of the better condition.
