Hi,
Ground clearence of Corsa is not too low.Its according to thetechnical requirments. Suggested not to alter ground clearence by replacing shocks and change of tyres as it would affect balance of car at high speeds due change of center of gravity and aerodynamic lift.
The advantage of Corsa is its quality, reliable engine. disadvantage is poor service network .The fact that operations of Opel is closed in India except maintenance of sold cars ads to disadvantages.

Mate i own an opel corsa 1.4 for the past 5 yeras Excellent vehicle, very stable, heavy and reliable

Efficiency- 10 KMPL CITY 13 KMPL highway
Ground clearance - 134 MM (Very low for bangalore roads because of Humps which will kill every owners peace of mind)
Max speed attained - 167kmph (Company claims 171)


Keep a close watch on the silencer always and the rubber clamp which hold it against the chasis

If you are in a city with high humps and cannot really withstand your baby brushing against every hump i suggest a spacer (in shock absorber) available with all General motor dealers which can improve your clearance by .5-.75 CM. Again not sure on the pros and cons need to check in detail
