1. Is cast iron engine block better than aluminum engine, in terms of long life?
2. Am planning to buy a Royal enfield but am confused whether I should go for TBTS or 350 std (are there major issues of maintenance in 350 std because of contact breaker point)
3. Does electra still have the cast iron engine ?

Hi,
Cast iron cylinder block is suitable for long life. Aluminium is lighter in weight and suitable for head assy. Bullet 350 is a good option and no major problems in maintenance. Posted: 4840 day(s) ago |
royal enfield 350 std is best in its segment . no maintaince if u drive properly in system . tb is just show but not to good in drve city trraficit is highway bike. but std model 350 and elctra is non complaint bikes.dont go to disscussfor alluminium /casting.u may go for for 1975 before model for too good perform .if u go for old bike pl go with trusted expert in bullet mechanick.

if someone asks you............& your baby.............you will quickly answer................before 3g................its all about trande & advertises the companies makes............ask to real bullet lovers & they will prefer cast iron engine rather than alloy engine.
