Some experts tell that as CNG is dry fuel it causes friction & overheating in petrol engine & thus reduces engine life but there is also difference in opinion - seeking your advice

Hi Surajit. CNG alternative does produce a little extra heat in comparison to petrol and its performance is also slightly lower especially when you drive uphill. CNG is a good alternative especially if you drive within the city. It does not cause major damage to engine components, so you need not worry.

They are correct upto some extent...but i think thats not a problem to worry about as companies might have answered it during the design of the engine.
