Hi,
The strategy of manufactureres in changing models with slight improvement is based on the changing customer attitudes. As competition increases, manucafturers will have to come up with new ideas which is cost effective too .It leads to improving of body style of existing cars and implementing latest technology engine .As sturation point is reached with sales of specific model , it has to be discontinued and entirely new shape and improved engine has to be brought into market . The present trend is entirely customer satisfaction oriented . All efforts by manufacturers can be considered fair as long as the product gives good service.
