Hi I have a Honda City 2004 model, it has been great owning this car for a year now as it has been well maintained by the previous owner. 2 days back I noticed that there is blistering that has appeared on the left front door, its not visible from far but can be identified from nearby. Any reason why this has suddenly happened and what can I do to get rid of it? Have read about it and looks like I need to get the full door painted, if this is the case can I claim for insurance? Please advice

Rustom
The blistering is because of the rusting of the metal below the paint. So the solution is to scrubb it clean, applying a layer of protective paint and then paint the door.
Regarding claiming it from Insurance, oh! What a question!
Usually, new cars are dipped in a protective layer before being painted. Once the car gets scratched, the protective layer goes. So, when you buy second hand cars you do not know about its history.
WHY USE SUCH AN OLD CAR? BUY A NEW ONE. Tata Manza is a better car with real value for money.
