Hii, I own a Ford Ikon TDCI Diesel which is 4 years old and 86000 kms driven. From the last 1 month the engine noise has rapidly increased and vibration of the vehicle is also too much. Please suggest what troubleshooting should i do to make the car smooth as i bought. Also the steering is a bit hard these days. i want to avoid any major expenses so thinking for troubleshooting. Also when i turn off the engine i can feel the vibration very much.

It is not giving black smoke & there is no oil leakage..

Regards,

Hi whatever is important make a note rest leave it

Maintenance Suggestion
1) USE MOBIL1 0w 40 – Oil is very expensive. Cost Rs. 3750/- for 4 litres. And you change your oils after every 12000 kms. Once a year you will change oil filter and engine oil. Fuel efficiency also increases by 20%, maintenance cost goes drastically down.

If you need any help, please let me know.

Thanks & Regards

Vibration problems could be due to worn out engine bedding and improper injection timings etc.In person inspection is needed for identifying the exact cause of problem.
