I would suggest to give priority For safety as already you have a budget for a i20. Please prefer one with ABS atleast.

i20 is good, but do test drive the New Honda Amaze Diesel, it has better space, power than i20.
ABS comes in basic version in Amaze.

If you like driving within 80km/h. Then i20 is a good car, else you can think of Swift or Polo.
