Hi I own a vw jetta old model july 2010. It has covered about 45000 km. Now its time for third service and the dealer tells to change the clutch plate,tyres,alloys,etc.is it necessary to change all these and it costs almost 2Lak?also I don't have any problem in riding the car please give your suggestions.thanks in advance...

The life of tyres are usually 30000kms, it's a good thing that it hs survived till 45000. So tyres definitely need changing, its not compulsory that you change the tyres in their workshop itself, get it done outside it'll be cheaper.
Alloys need not be changed unless they have a dull look with metaly dust all over.

The schedule for replacing the clutch plates are given in the Owners Manual, you can check n decide.

Unless the tyre threads are completely worn out you need not replace them, just tell him to do Wheel Alignment.

The clutch and tyre life is usually 40000 to 50000km, you can change it. But well maintained alloys can last upto 2,00,000km.
Better change Tyres to branded tyre dealers.

As mentioned in earlier comments, changing clutch plate and Tyres would be good enough for comfortable usage of the car.
