Considering features of i20 petrol version , success of diesel versions of Hyundai cars .We can expect good performance Diesel version of i20 .But The launch date of diesel version is not confirmed .Considering this If you are already in possession of a car , It will be better to wait for few months. Swift has successful record in sales and performance but it has divided openions about body style .Overall worth waiting for few months for i20 otherwise you can go ahead with Swift .
