Friends !! ...

I need to buy a car for relatively sparing usage of around 20 km/day daily commuting. I am looking for a sedan/ saloon and my plan was to go in for a used Optra or Elantra, as good ones are available cheap - compared to smaller cars. I intend to use it for about 2 years, I would like to know if these would be a good buy....

I want to know your views about used Fiesta/ Ikon / Honda City also.

Thanks.

I would suggest you to go for the cars in the following order....
1) Honda City - (new shape)
2) Ford Fiesta
3) Ford Ikon
4) Chevy Optra
5) Hyundai Elantra

Hi,
Used Honda City would be best selection for high reliability, styling and performance. If preferring diesel version then Fiesta is the one to go for.

Close your eyes............... Put your hand on a Honda City (New version) and then forget about your worries for atleast 4-5 years.

Highly reliable and fuel efficient. It wont let you down and you wont regret buying one.

Hi, Just go for a OPTRA....This is a best car, i m using it for the last 2 years and not a single rs i have spend on it for any repairs. Its fuel average is better then Hyundai Santro Zing.Yes it is true because i m using both cars. One of my friend is also using optra 2004 model and has run almost 2 lakh kms that too on cng.Optra engine is the best engine.Just go for it.

The Hyundai Accent Executive is also a good option. The Brand new one will cost you about 6.0 on road. The car has elegant style and with powerful engine, it churns out 95 BHP. Quite comfortable, I bought one in Apr '12 and have no issues. Mileage is around 10-12 km/l in city and may go upto 15-16 km/l on highways. The new improved front grill gives it a decent look and add to that company spoiler and alloys, you have a car with elegant style, class and power that too in much less price what others would offer.
