Hi,
Though Fiat 500 is a well known worldwide acknowledged for best of styling and performance. In India it was not so successful due to very high price. There are much competitive cars available in less than half price of the same.Hence it has been stopped from sales and currently Grande Punto and Linea are available through Fiat outlets. It would be worth going for the same provided preference is for styling and on road image and price is not a constraint.Else avoidable.

The Patriot
The Fiat 500 is neither acknowledged for its styling or its performance Mr Shiva Shankar, the present Fiat 500 was launched to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the original Fiat 500 which was manufactured between 57 and 75. The car was built for the utilitarian purpose of a cheap and reliable transport. The iconic car is just that an icon, and Fiat had no plans to mass produce this here in India. Like the VW Beatle the car is but a statement of its retro design and its iconic status in the automobile world due to the history behind the original Beatle and the Fiat 500. You can buy it as for its symbolic value and nothing else, it will have no re-sale value at all.
