I think you should go for DIESEL,
because petrol prices is daily increase,

and once you buy a car,
your uses is also increase about 120 to 140,

So,
Last your choice

Sir, go for petrol. Even if your mileage incereases to 150 per week after getting the car diesel wont make the cut. To get even for the extra cost you pay for the diesel car and extra maintenance costs it will take ages. Also driving a petrol car is a pleasure in itself.
And if you are going for petrol stay away from i20 since the engine is not so powerful. And Swift Vxi is powerful and gives better mileage but the Air conidtioning and interior space is very less. Honda is king of petrol engines, So please have a look at Brio/Jazz. If anytime you opt for i10 go for Brio eyes closed since it is a better proposition in many areas.
Happy motoring

If you have budget around 6L I'd suggest you to go for a diesel, like Beat Diesel. it is VFM car with excellent mileage. you'll be resistant to fuel price hike disease in the long run. :-) otherwise a petrol will be a better option as your weekly running is merely 100km. looking at your weekly run, fuel price hike may not make you concerned that much. You have a wide range of petrol vehicle to choose from. The ultimate decision will be yours. Cheers!!
